This morning, the Hon. Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province, Mr. Khag Raj Bhatta invited the President Mr. Binayak Shah, Treasurer Mr. Youbraj Shrestha of Hotel Association Nepal (HAN), newly elected board member of HAN- Sudurpaschim Province, and other stakeholders to his residence for a meeting focused on the development of tourism in Sudurpaschim Province.
The discussion centered on exploring ways to further develop Sudurpaschim as a major tourism destination, including attracting investment in new and larger hotels and developing emerging destinations such as Saipal, Api, Badimalika, Ramaroshan, Khaptad, Shuklaphanta National Park, Tripura Sundari Temple etc.
The meeting also focused on how to provide the best possible services and experiences to both international and domestic tourists visiting the region. Discussions included the role of the hospitality sector, the support required from the government, and how collaboration between the government and tourism stakeholders can contribute to the sustainable growth of tourism in Sudurpaschim.
