The Nepal Heritage Food Fest and Expo 2025 kicked off with great enthusiasm on January 15, 2025, at the prestigious The Soaltee Hotel Kathmandu, bringing together Nepal’s rich culinary traditions under one roof. Chief Guest honorable Minister Mr Badri Prasad Pandey, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation officially inaugurated Nepalese Heritage Food Fest and Expo 2025 by unveiling a digital banner amidst the program. Organized following the inauguration of Nepal Hospitality Day 2025, the event showcased an impressive array of authentic Nepalese dishes that celebrated the nation’s diverse gastronomic heritage.

Hotel Association Nepal as part of its focused initiatives to promoting heritage food and internationalize culinary tourism, the program provided a pivotal platform for stakeholders and hoteliers towards preserving, prioritizing and promoting Nepal’s rich food heritage. The festival served as a platform to demonstrate how traditional recipes can be reimagined with a modern touch while retaining their authentic flavors and cultural significance.
